I personally have never used this business. My best friend has for years. I have been with him many times when he has dropped off items for the auctions and when he has bought things off the auctions.
The staff was always friendly and very helpful. They were great in explaining how the auction works and how the law applies to certain things you may sell. They check over the items very well and what you see is what you get.
When I have a need to use the auctiin in the future I will not hesitate. The staff always gave me the impression they were nothing , but honest. I believe people can trust them completely in what I I have seen and witnessed personally by them.

Sellers Beware. You only have 3 days to pick up items that did not sell or they "donate" them. If you don't pick up the items you purchase in a week, they charge you a late fee, yet you can't pick up your check for the items you sold for 2 weeks!! If you live a distance away, it's unreasonable to have to make 3 trips there per auction (drop off items, pick up unsold items and then pick up check.)
Fees are ridiculous. Listing fee, buyer's fee, seller's fee, commission fee, late fees. Plan on giving 40-50% of what you make back to them.
Great for buyers, bad for sellers unless it's gun or coin related, would not recommend bringing anything here, your stuff goes cheap and makes no sense to donate to these guys, just take your stuff to non profit donating places and get a tax right off
Very nice staff and lots of items to look at
JNJ Online Auction is a great place to find unique, antique, vintage and/or new items. I make purchases at least 30 weeks of the year. Every time I'm there the staff are working hard to find my items and bring them out to my car. Sometimes it takes a little bit of time, but that's only because they are so busy (and I tend to buy a lot.....).
The owners are super friendly and accommodating.
Lately they've been running 3500+ items each week. Everything from taxidermy to chocolate bars. The online bidding platform is easy to use. Invoices are automatically emailed at the end of each auction.
I recommend waiting a day or two to pick up your items. The day after an auction ends is very busy.
When buying here, you have to be careful and inspect what you're bidding on. Things are AS IS. But you can get some really good deals and the staff has always been very helpful to me. Plus, any sales I've done through JNJ have gone really smoothly.
Usually a place with good people but today is different. It's 11 degrees out and I went inside to pay and was ignored totally. After watching 2 other customers do the same thing I went outside and had to wait in line. I told the guy that waited on me that a sign would have been nice or they could have mentioned it. He was rude. The guy who brought my stuff to the car was very nice.
I was warned about this place but I always give the benefit of the doubt. Was in the hospital with sepsis which I had no control over and didn't make it to pick up. They sent an email and I got it the same day I came home from the hospital. Contacted them to let them know what was going on and they emailed me back and we're very rude and proceeded to tell me I had no follow through and even though I was wanting to come pick up and pay they showed their true colors as I was warned about. Not good business ethics and not nice people. I now know why everyone warned me.
